- 2 12-ounce bags of fresh cranberries, rinsed
- Zest and juice from 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons blood orange liqueur
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Place over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and let the sauce cool.
Transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve alongside your Thanksgiving feast and enjoy!
Optional Variations:
1 tablespoon yuzu juice for an extra tangy flavor
1 teaspoon Calabrian chili paste for a spicy kick
