- 2 12-ounce bags of fresh cranberries, rinsed
- Zest and juice from 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons blood orange liqueur
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. 
- Place over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens. 
- Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. 
- Transfer to an airtight jar and refrigerate until ready to serve. 
- Serve alongside your Thanksgiving feast and enjoy! 
Optional Variations:
1 tablespoon yuzu juice for an extra tangy flavor
1 teaspoon Calabrian chili paste for a spicy kick
