If you’re following along, you know how obsessed I am with my TAMily.  Tracy Anderson’s Method builds strength and balance while tapping into your femininity through elements of dance, barre, Pilates, and yoga. Her method enables you to feel empowered, grounded, and inspired with fluid, challenging movement designed for people of all ages and backgrounds.  

When I found Tracy, I was postpartum with my first-born, Sofia, and desperately needed to reconnect to my core.  The Tracy Anderson Method provides a unique transformational fitness approach that creates a holistic workout designed to transform your body and elevate your energetic vitality. This method encourages fluid, free movement while building strength, balance, and a deeper connection to your body. Over the last 10+ years practicing Tracy’s method, I feel more grounded, empowered, and inspired in my fitness journey.  Every practice, I’m connected to my inner athlete and that innate desire to be connected to both body and mind.

At the heart of the Tracy Anderson’s Method is the focus on creating a strong and connected body. Unlike traditional weight training, this method uses small, controlled movements that target every muscle group, even the ones you didn’t know existed! The variety in the movements ensures that every workout feels fresh, challenging, and inspiring. 

Tracy’s approach includes gifting us with craftily curated content week over week, challenging our minds and bodies by not repeating the same series of movements over and over. By regularly practicing these movements, you’ll notice increased muscle tone and definition. You’ll feel stronger, more balanced, and capable.  You’ll find community and inspiration with countless other TAMily members working right alongside with you bringing that sense of collaboration and unity in an otherwise disconnected digital world.

How we age gracefully in our bodies is such a unique experience to each of us.  It’s not one-size fits all and that’s why I love Tracy Anderson’s Method. She includes a variety of levels from Beginner, to Intermediate, to Advanced.  She also has elective content to hone in on certain areas.  She’s brought to life numerous modalities from her O.G. mat classes to standing chair movements to her proprietary and revolutionary MyMode and HeartStone practices.  

If you’re lucky enough to live near one of her in-person studios across NYC, The Hamptons, LA, Bozman, Madrid, and London you’re in for a top-notch treat.  She even does in person and virtual pop-ups known as Vitality Weeks, which I’m dying to try.  However you can swing it, give an in person visit a go!  There is nothing like dancing and moving on her exclusively engineered Cardio Fly Super G floors.  When I designed my home gym in 2022 I was insistent in including these sprung exercise floors for both function and design reasons.  Taking care of my joints is a health investment I will never feel guilty about.
